Our residents range in age from 12-18

Yes, we want the family involved as much as possible since our goal is to reunite the family at the end of this journey.

Our residents live on campus in cottage style homes with fully trained House Parents. We strive to make our housing environments as close to a home-setting as possible. Each resident room has access to a private bathroom.

We do not take insurance.

Yes, monthly pass time is earned as your child progresses through the Growing in Character Program as well as built in visitation time after family counseling sessions, parent workshops and any doctors visits. We also have weekly phone call times for every resident.

Yes, we are licensed through DHS as a residential child care home. We follow their regulations and guidelines.

The cost for the Hope Harbor program is based on the family's income level as reported on the previous year's tax return. However, we never turn families away because of the inability to afford services. This organization is not here to make money. We are here to help children. We have amazing donors who support the work being done here. Please do not let the fear of affordability stop you from filling out an application.

Every resident attends Hope Harbor Academy, our on-site accredited school.

While at Hope Harbor students will be allowed to participate in many fun activities. The House Parents plan outings like movies, parks, games and other fun things to do. The school also plans fun field trips at times. Each resident will also be involved in youth group activities during their time here at the Blue Starr Church of Christ in Claremore.

Hope Harbor is primarily funded through private donations and church congregational donations. We also own Thrift Harbor that is operated through donations of items from our wonderful, supportive community of Claremore. We could not do what we do without the support of all of our amazing champions!
